How We Review Survey and Rewards Platforms

Get Free Cash separates official platform information from independent research and genuine hands-on testing. This page explains how we approach each type of review.

Our Review Principles

  • Accuracy before speed.
  • Clear evidence labels on every page.
  • No guaranteed-income claims.
  • Eligibility and country limits matter and must be stated.
  • Affiliate relationships are disclosed.
  • Strengths and limitations are both reported.
  • Ratings require sufficient evidence.

Evidence Types

Independently researched
Official terms, policies, help documentation and credible external sources were reviewed.
Terms verified
Important eligibility, redemption or account rules were checked against official published materials.
Hands-on tested
An eligible tester created or used an account and documented the experience.
Payment verified
A real redemption was completed and evidence was recorded.
Partially tested
Some stages were tested, but registration, earning activity or payment could not be fully completed.
Awaiting verification
Important details could not yet be confirmed.

A research-only review must not be presented as a hands-on test.

Research Sources

  • Official website
  • Terms and conditions
  • Privacy policy
  • Help center
  • Payment and redemption documentation
  • Platform support responses
  • First-hand tester records
  • Regulatory or consumer-protection sources
  • Public complaints, interpreted cautiously
  • Independent reporting

Hands-On Testing

When a hands-on test is claimed, our records may include tester country, eligibility, registration process, identity-verification requirements, opportunities received, disqualifications, time spent, rewards earned, redemption requested, payment received, processing time, support experience and account problems.

Personal information and payment evidence are redacted before publication.

Rating Methodology

We use a 100-point internal scoring model converted to the visible rating scale. Categories and weights:

  • Legitimacy and transparency20%
  • Opportunity availability15%
  • Qualification experience15%
  • Payment experience15%
  • Usability10%
  • Customer support10%
  • Privacy and account controls15%
  • Affiliate payout is not a scoring category.
  • A page may remain “Not yet rated” when evidence is insufficient.
  • Category scores must be manually supplied.
  • Ratings may change when platform policies change.
  • A higher score does not guarantee that a visitor will qualify.

Review Updates

  • Eligibility changes
  • Payment methods change
  • Redemption thresholds change
  • Platform terms change
  • Testing is repeated
  • A serious complaint is verified
  • An affiliate relationship begins or ends
